Only what an order needs

When you shop with us we collect your name, email address, phone number, and shipping and billing addresses, along with what you ordered and when.

If you create an account we also store your login details. Your password is stored in a scrambled (hashed) form — nobody at KASA can read it.

Like most websites, our servers record basic technical information such as your browser type and IP address, which helps us keep the site secure and working.

Your card never touches our servers

Online payments are handled by our payment partner. Card, UPI and bank details go directly to them over an encrypted connection; we only receive a confirmation that the payment succeeded and a reference number.

To get your order to you

We use your details to process and deliver orders, handle cancellations, returns and refunds, answer your questions, prevent fraud, and keep the records Indian tax and consumer law require.

We will only send you marketing emails or messages if you have chosen to receive them, and every one of them will have a way to unsubscribe.

A short list, and never for sale

We share only what each partner needs to do their job: courier companies (name, address and phone, to deliver), our payment partner (to process payment), and the hosting and email services that run this website on our behalf.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, for example to a court or a government authority.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

Just enough to keep your bag

We use essential cookies to remember what's in your bag, keep you signed in, and remember your region. The site doesn't work properly without them.

We don't use advertising cookies. If we ever add analytics or marketing tools, we'll update this page first.

With trusted cloud providers

Our website, order database and image storage run on established cloud providers whose servers are located outside India (currently in the United States and Singapore). Your data is protected the same way wherever it is stored, as described on this page.

No longer than we need

We keep your account details for as long as your account is open. Order and invoice records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

It's your data

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or update it, ask us to delete it, withdraw any consent you've given, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.

To do any of this, write to support@kasalifestyle.com. We'll reply within 7 days, and may ask you to confirm your identity first.

Handled with care

The whole site runs over HTTPS, access to customer data is limited to the people who need it to fulfil orders, and we work only with providers who maintain recognised security standards. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

For adults

Our store is meant for people aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, please shop with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

If something's not right

Our Grievance Officer is Anita, Proprietor. For any concern about how your data is handled, write to support@kasalifestyle.com with the subject line “Privacy”. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
